Review
The Seagate FireCuda 530 is a rugged flagship that pairs 7,300 MB/s reads with some of the best endurance ratings in the Gen4 class — up to 5,100 TBW on the 4TB model. That makes it a favorite for users who hammer their drives.
It's a strong PS5 candidate too: the heatsink version keeps thermals in check during long sessions, and its sustained performance holds up better than many peers when transferring hundreds of gigabytes.
You'll pay a bit more than for a comparable WD or Crucial drive, but if longevity and consistency matter more than saving a few dollars, the FireCuda 530 earns its place.
